As independent ski travel specialists, Glacius Travel provides personally tailored winter breaks to groups, corporates and individuals worldwide.

The challenge

To launch a new independent ski travel specialists providing personally tailored winter breaks to groups, corporates and individuals worldwide, set up by a former corporate lawyer with experience of the middle eastern legal sector.

Our approach

To develop a strategic platform, including positioning, proposition, personality and values, on which to develop a name and strong visual identity which positions the company as a premium provider to key target groups and individuals.

Brand strategy

We began the project by undertaking a detailed appraisal of the sector and desired positioning. The output was a strategic 'brand platform', defining the key attibutes required of the new brand system.

This served as a soild foundation for the naming and identity creative development.


A clean and sophisticated brand signature was developed for Glacius, referencing the dynamic alpine environments in which it operates.

The wider brand identity developed covers many areas of visual communication, including use of photography, principles of layout etc.


A bold and sophisticated photographic style was developed for Glacius for use across a wide range of media.

Web design

Building on the dynamic photographic theme developed for Glacius, the website employs bold use of imagery as section navigation.

This deliberatly positions Glacius as a confident, highly-professional provider of quality ski travel experiences to a discerning audience.

Social media

In parallel with the website, and building on the distinctive Glacius visual branding system, social media chanels are used to communicate and engage with key audience groups, raising brand awareness. 

e-mail marketing

As part of an on-going brand awareness exercise, we developed a platform for email marketing.

This allows Glacius to communicate effectively and efficiently, whilst also reinforcing the defined positioning as an authority in quality
winter breaks.
